some pen inks have more forgiving formulation than others, that's why i use Bic Roundstic red ballpoints.

These are the best pens. Medium point, black or blue, and the absolute OG, which I can’t find right now: the older Papermate Write Bros.

Results!
Clear winners in the pen vs solvent challenge. Zebra Sarasa, MUJI gel ink, Uniball Signo, and Pilot G-2( black ink only) had no/minimal bleeding when exposed to water, methanol, acetonitrile, phosphate buffer, ethyl acetate and isopropanol.
All inks held up under water, except for a minimal bleeding in Pilot G-2 (black & blue inks) Gel inks faired well under solvents methanol and acetonitrile. Zebra Sarasa, MUJI gel ink, Uniball Signo remained undisturbed. There was bleeding in Pilot G-2 blue ink, while the black ink remained unbled. Ballpoint pens Bic Cristal Xtra Smooth, Bic RoundStic, Bic ClicStic, TUL, Uniball Jetstream, Zebra Z-1 and the Sharpie markers experienced major bleeding under both methanol and acetonitrile. Portions of sample writing blurred to near disappearance. All inks had no bleeding under phosphate buffer, except for minimal bleeding seen in Pilot G-2 (black and blue inks). Most inks held up in ethyl acetate. Ballpoint pens Uniball Jetstream, all Bics, and Zebra Z-1 had minor bleeding. Sharpie markers bled with parts disappearing all together. Under isopropanol, gel inks remained undisturbed. Ballpoint pens and Sharpie markers again experienced major bleeding, many to the point of becoming illegible.

yeah, the colors are very vivid too..
The ones i use are the BiC Roundstic Xtras with the see-through barrels because it's far more forgiving, but then again the colors are lighter..
