the route 1 bird for my NM inspired fakemon region: Ahkita! We have a notably diverse bird population, so I decided to give three birds the spotlight; quails, roadrunners and hawks. #Fakemon #PokemonDesigns #Route1Fakemon #NewMexico #RouteOnePokemon
a drawing of a tiny bird pokemon that looks like a baby quail. it has one large clawed foot, with a spring like leg that it hops on, a cute little face and a large curly feather at the top of it's head. a pokemon version of a roadrunner. it has long tail feathers and legs, and wings that resemble a parachute or glider with how long and flowy they are, even tucked to it's body. a pokemon version of a cooper's hawk. it has short, thin legs and very long and powerful wings.

the route 1 bug for my NM inspired fakemon region: Ahkita! consider this a bug cousin of varoom's line, based on Lowriders (very important here). its most fed berry determines it's final shell color. #Fakemon #PokemonDesigns #NewMexico #Varoom #Revavroom #Route1Fakemon
a pokemon that in part resembles a tarantula, but with six legs, and a very large set of eyes on a tiny little body. it has bright wavy striped patterns on it's legs. a cocoon pokemon that looks like a metal wrench. you can see small lines crossing the whole thing, and two differnet sized eyes that are closed as it sleeps. a bug pokemon that vaugely looks like a vehicle mixed with a beetle. it has a long body that seemingly has a saddle like shell, with each leg and it's wings also being covered in very colorful and patterened shells. A line up of many vivaroar, each in one color of the rainbow. Each color has it's own unique patterns of stripes, dots, and flowers.

the route 1 normal type for my nm inspired fakemon region: Ahkita! instead of a rodent my first thought was our iconic blue tail lizards, with their detachable tails making me combine it with piñatas and optical illusions #Fakemon #PokemonDesigns #Route1Fakemon #NewMexico
a pokemon lizard. it has a large head with very large eyes, and a bublous very bright blue tail. a pokemon lizard. it's has two heads, one at the end of a neck and the other at the end of the tail. one half of it's body is bright yellow, the other is bright blue. both halfs, except for color, look identical.
