Lupine are next! Thats my favorite flower season. There is a book by Barbara Clooney called Miss Rumphius who spread lupine seeds around Maine. The real Miss Rumphius drank sherry with my grandmother every afternoon. 😁

Hernandia has labyrinth seeds. Hernandia labyrinthica (named for its cotyledons?) was described in: Tuyama, T. 1943. Mr. Rumphius' Arbor ovigera and related species, and Hernandia sonora. Bulletin Singenkagaku Kenkyusyo 1(1): 27-44. ILL couldn’t get it for me. Can anyone send it to me?
