🍝🤠 Discovered Sergio Sollima had made a sequel to The Big Gundown. Which I hadn't seen either. 😲 Unfortunately it was built around Tomas Milian's character, not Lee van Cleef's. 🤨 #CorriUomoCorri #RunManRun 📽️🎞️
The Italian poster for the Italian zapata spaghetti western 'Corri uomo corri'/'Run, Man, Run' (1968), the sequel to 'La resa dei conti'/'The Big Gundown' (1967). Directed by Sergio Sollima. Starring Tomas Milian, Donal O'Brien, Linda Veras, John Ireland, Chelo Alonso, Marco Guglielmi, José Torres, Edward Ross, Nello Pazzafini and Gianni Rizzo. On the poster an illustration of a dark brown haired man (Tomas Milian as Cuchillo Sanchez) wearing an open fur vest and white trousers with a rope belt screaming with his hands tied above his head as he's being threatened with a knife by a bearded man wearing a black brimmed hat and a suit (on the right). In the background on the left side of the poster an illustration of a man hanging from a poorly growing bare tree on top of a hill with the sun shining on the sky in behind the tree. At the bottom of the poster's white background the film's title in Italian in red letters. Frame from the Italian zapata spaghetti western 'Corri uomo corri'/'Run, Man, Run' (1968). On the foreground on the left edge of the frame the right arm of a man wearing a black jacket and holding a revolver in his right hand. In the backgroud on the right edge of the frame a dead body wearing a white poncho and trousers lying on the ground face down next to a sombrero on the right. A white brick bulding in the background on the right. A cactus patch on the left with palm trees behind the patch. The side of a treeless hill in the distance. Frame from the Italian zapata spaghetti western 'Corri uomo corri'/'Run, Man, Run' (1968). Close-up of a moustached dark brown haired man (Tomas Milian as Cuchillo Sanchez) wearing a poncho and a white shirt peeking through the double swinging doors of a saloon (on the left) at night.

🍝🤠 Donal O'Brien is definitely NO Lee van Cleef. The film's more comedic in tone and definitely too long. Plus Tomas Milian does ham it up more than in the first film. But that said #RunManRun has got its moments even if it's not as enjoyable as The Big Gundown. #CorriUomoCorri 📽️🎞️
