In our city there is an intersection of two streets with the names Rusholme Road and Ave P. It’s a favourite with the kids at the nearby school who get a kick out of saying “At lunchtime (or after school) I’m going to Rushholme and P.”

Andy Burnham will pass legislation to scrap the state pension triple lock in this parliament, even though the guarantee will remain until 2030, the government has said.

Yeah I've just read a list of pharmacies online and the only one I can see listed as 24/7 is in Rusholme

I used to live in Rusholme, otherwise known as The Curry Mile if you've ever heard of it, and getting the bus in the morning you could smell the food being started at all the different restaurants. Drifting in an out of the scent of all these myriad cultures. It was awesome.
