I finished the two “Comebacks” books (enjoyed them both), and moved on to this Friday. But my skin issues meant I couldn’t focus. I just finished (late Monday night). A perfectly charming story.

The next morning Kel heard the chatter of birds. She crept over to her open window and peered outside. It was nearly dawn, with the barest touch of light colouring the sky. I think I left this one on the tree a bit too long. Maybe next year it will impress me more.

Dug out this Oriental lily bulb from underneath a winter camellia tree in a big pot and planted it into a sunny garden bed in the backyard. Hopefully it would do better with more flowers!
