‘Between the lines’, the ‘lines’ in question being #1.Liin & 2.Liin #south of and 3.Liin, 4.Liin & 5.Liin #north of the branch railway line serving the nearby #Russo-BalticShipyard (1911-18ish).
Tallinn city streetsigns with the streetname Liinivahe on it. New housing development in Liinivahe, Tallinn. Reproduction of a 1910s house builit in Liinivahe,Tallinn, for employees of the Russo-Baltic Shipyard. White-painted houses seem to be closest to using original materials and design, particularly masonry and interior staircases. Reconstruction of a "Line" (this one 3. Liin), with houses either side of a central alley, the cobbles here *possibly* being pre-existing ones re-used or, more likely, new.

3rd line. Formerly known as #Suur-Laevaehituse, 'laevaehitus' meaning shipbuilding (see #1.Tehase) after the #Russo-BalticShipyard (1911-18). This, 4. Liin and part of 5. Liin have been rehabilitated and redeveloped over the pas few years. See also #Liinivahe.
