Rustoleum 214944 is a reflective clear coat you can spray on your plate so they cant be read. Must easier less trouble same result your not being traced.

On the plus side...i always wanted to visit Lake Shore Drive. If i ever make it i'll bring some UK non toxic food safe rustoleum with me.

Have just seen this (been out). Thanks for mentioning that. I used rustoleum on a number of household items to replace enamel chips and scuffs...However, while you are correct to question the rustoleum tinned paints, the sprays are usually food safe. Low heat and hi heat sprays are readily available

Aye...a metal pan scourer should take care of the rust, then seal it with a non-toxic rustoleum enamel paint from B&Q...a tester pot should be more than enough.

I am so glad I got to tour all of these beautiful facilities before the Orange wrecking ball arrived. His will be a legacy of rampant destruction and Rustoleum Gold colored paint by numbers crap.

The base coat is Rustoleum Rust Reformer with Montana Gold spray paint over top in Jungle Green. The details are Posca paint markers. I will seal the whole thing when the painting is done. Basically, rusty old beater becomes rolling art.

My boss ordered some supplies for me from Home Depot. They were delivered, left outside the loading dock door yesterday at 6am. If anyone spots fresh chrome colored graffiti downtown, that’s where my 10 cans of Rustoleum for the fall musical went.

You have an object that at its core absolutely and completely red, but if you spray it with a $8 can of blue Rustoleum, you can pretend it's half red and half blue.

Yup! First thing my dad did when he bought his Avenger new was to paint everything underneath with Rustoleum.
I did the same when I got mine, but I used Rust-NIX.
Both lasted until the early 90's with little rust.
The others we got our hands on were very rusty.

what was the primer? Half my paints are Rustoleum and I love it. It dries real hard though and if your primer layer is still soft and not fully-cured, you're gonna have a bad time and get alligatoring like that

Learned my lesson to change out the painter's tape after a certain amount of coats too for ease of removal at the end...

The metalcast spray was easier to use than expected, and I loved the candy color payoff

Benn Jordan recently was in a video discussing these ideas - rustoleum doesn’t work, and a powerful enough laser isn’t commercially available.
