sadly Patty's and Lila's are more generalized and doesn't seem to reference a specific frame, but they did keep the sakura petals from Patty's!

(heck I'm not sure if Lila is referencing her Ryza1 or 3 Fatal Drive because she's not playable in 2, despite she's part of the Ryza2 collab lol)

Played the demo for a little more than 3 hours, here are some first impressions (bear in mind, I'm a bit sleep deprived rn)

-The alchemy system is simple and easy to understand (at least from someone with experience from Ryza1+2)
-Battle system is a bit weird - haven't gotten the hang of that yet

I bought Ryza1 on the switch on sale for like $10 one day, and it sent me down the Atelier rabbit hole of cute anime girls with lesbian bait and a really addicting gameplay loop of get things->make things with those things->use those things to get better things
I regret nothing

The alchemy mechanic is the key here. If you don't like it, I'd imagine it's hard for you to get ANY enjoyment out of Ryza1 as its not smth I'd rec playing for the adventures or stories. I did enjoy the story regardless. It had a great message abt taking your youth for granted at the end :')

i need to play some of the pre-Ryza ones because Sophie 2 was easily my favorite between Ryza1/Ryza2/Ryza3/Sophie2/Yumia
