Adam Sandler movies always have that "friend" character that's a little weird or creepy depending of the cue.
Russell Brand played the weirdest of all of them in Bedtime Stories. A dude who's objectively more with the kids in the movie that Sandler. He's always off on it.

I had a chilling remembrance that Brand appeared in a lot of children's movies. He's in the Despicable Me films. He was the lead in Illumination's Hop. He was in one as recently as 2020.
