Judge David Hittner, a Reagan appointee, found Texas SB12 prohibiting drag performances unconstitutionally vague and cited that certainly drag kings doing Elvis impersonations with crotch packers and queens wearing breast plates for Dolly Parton should be permitted under the First Amendment

Considering that since 2000, several courts, including the Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, have ruled that school Gay-Straight Alliances and similar LGBTQ+ clubs are protected under the First Amendment, I would not be shocked if SB12 sees some sort of lawsuit #txlege
