Look up what happened in Alabama in 2012. The law was SB56, I believe. Alabama lost $11 billion in less than a year. Crops rotted. Construction stopped. They repealed it.

This is straight Florida madness - SB56 would make anything released into the atmosphere "for the express purpose of affecting the temperature, the weather, or the intensity of sunlight" a $10k fine. "Chemtrails" are never mentioned by name, but be assured that fiction is what led to this bill.

If you're in WA, there's a current bill to designate the basalt cactus as an official state symbol.
It's a very good native plant! More states should have state cacti!
