GOOD NEWS: A #Louisiana bill that would've sent 15 & 16-year-olds accused of felonies to adult court is dead. SB74 failed to pass out of the Senate Finance Committee, a major win for the people.

Louisianans deserve elected officials who actually represent them. Read more from Vera’s Sarah Omojola:
Does the Louisiana Legislature represent us, or should we find someone else? | The Lens
Last week, the state Senate Judiciary committee passed a bill that would automatically funnel all arrested 15- and 16-year-olds into the adult system. That’s not what Louisiana voters want.

For CALIFORNIA:

You can call your state senator and tell them to support Weiner's SB-747 as amended: legiscan.com/CA/text/SB74...

(There is some weird political game playing nonsense where old versions of this bill had some behavioral health stuff lumped in, careful what version you read.)

SB74 in Georgia takes away protection for librarians. This is follow a disaster of a
Bill that failed last year SB390. I am wondering who thinks these things up.

It's entirely because the people of Kokomo Indiana or Lebanon Tennessee have not faced the same level of terrorism. If the entire country faced this, we'd see far, far, far more. It's spreading though, Indiana SB74 just passed... and plenty of cities that were saying no are being forced to say yes.
