Yes well , I’ve never been asked to take a patients SBP by a surgeon to 50mmHg, but I’d image the issues are these:
- in elective surgery - I go with a minimum sbp of 100mmHg or 80% of resting SBP ( whichever is higher)
- in surgery where a surgeon or other proceduralist requested SBPs below this :
- in elective surgery - I go with a minimum sbp of 100mmHg or 80% of resting SBP ( whichever is higher)
