#SCRIPT's
this was the first time i saw it as a carpenter/raimi-style horror movie from a major studio, from the rare post-Juno moment when a woman actually had some clout in Hollywood, so Diablo Cody could both let karyn kusama go off and stop the studio from cutting her script's dripping contempt for men

The key to that balance is definitely the script's willingness to poke fun at its own absurdity, which is partly why it's endured for so long, alongside its genuinely weird and wonderful sci-fi elements, like the flower's sonic powers and the Orin Scrivello's sadistic dentist ...

A Cardano script compared a big constant with itself. Inlined twice, it cost 578,965 CPU units. Bound to a variable, 668,284. In UPLC every variable needs a lambda and an apply around it, and you pay for both.

How Execution Budgeting Works for On-Chain Scripts
How the Untyped Plutus Core cost model calculates a script's execution budget on Cardano, and why its CPU and memory units behave nothing like the real thing.

Well, it took Viv eight years to discover the secret to unlock it, but NOW the script's been flipped:

She found a way to get people to rip her apart for FAT character designs! ✨People✨ are now bitching and moaning that Loona's too thick in the new Short!

LOONA. TOO THICK. You fucking hypocrites. 🖕

Miyu Tomita Voices Pagtaro in Uncle's Obsession with Cute Things

Tomita's Pagtaro has no written dialogue beyond 'Paguuu!', so every scene is built from her reading the script's margins for the emotion and adding extra takes the page never asked for.

6/ The Batch Filming Day
"Act as a content producer. Group my next 15 reel scripts into one efficient shoot. Analyze each script's location, outfit, props, lighting. Design the filming order, setup changes, a shot checklist per reel, time blocks, and a file naming system for faster editing."

...I discovered that this place was very likely an ancient... facility. If so, I should be able to find useful data... The script's content...

in Arabic script's defense Farsi had a history of going "oh thank fuck a script we can yoink to write with that sucks less than the last one" it went through, what, a simplified cuneiform and then also a variant of Aramaic before Islam swept through?

When a good script lands and delivers something fresh

Which does happen in S6

The cast/crew seem to fly

But no sense Brian’s played an active part in making this happen

Sometimes can spot his involvement - to a script’s detriment?

Other times he doesn’t work to improve the core basics : Game

I get the hype, but a rogue Red Phantom shouldn't stall a movie—maybe the script's just too raw?

A mysterious script, proto-Elamite, emerged at the dawn of writing 5000 years ago but has long been overlooked. Although it remains largely undeciphered, the script’s story is so surprising that it may rewrite the early history of writing. Read more: www.newscientist.com/articl...

Have never seen "End of Watch," and after reading the Wikpedia entry, I likely never will.

Steel Lotus is up. It's the 3rd script in the Rolled Dark Dungeon RomPG series.

This one's about monks. To infiltrate the Order and spare minds from flaying, Kiarra has to navigate the Mirror Maze and learn all about herself.

The audio drama script's available on AO3 and the NNPP website!

GS arc is...exactly the show I remember getting bored of as a kid, yeah. Satoshi's writing is at his most bland and sanded down—they've got this twerp using *keigo*—while Team Rocket carries the script's comedy, flavor, and somehow the immaturity Satoshi was supposed to have on their backs.

Rewatching Arrival, which is beautiful but less clever on subsequent viewings. They have Amy Adams introduce exceptionally basic linguistic principles and also lie to make invalid points. Nonetheless, the script's weaknesses are overwhelmed by the gestalt.

Claude Code subagents pick up the session's effort level between turns. Only a workflow script's agent() can set it per agent; Haiku 4.5 ignores it. No effort change broke a cache; every miss was an idle subagent.

Effort levels in Claude Code subagents
Claude Code subagents take the session's effort level between turns, a workflow script can override it per agent, and Haiku 4.5 gets none. Cache results for Sonnet, Opus and Haiku.

I would love to incorporate it into my mathematics...but that might toe the line of appropriation, given the script's cultural significance.

Without taking the script's notes into account, one can interpret the film in different ways. The Creative Capers team claim that romance in Bionicle canon wasn't discussed during production at all. They aimed to make the characters feel human, not worry about lore consistency.

if American Psycho was released today Patrick Bateman would be rambling on about The Script's #3 album while Hall Of Fame plays
