but this works, so have not messed up the SDExpress part, now just need to write some software, seems like no one implemented a card side SD library yet.

lol yea, no way there aren't some hardware bugs there. PCI-e gets messed up so often.
Especially given that SDExpress and internal NAND seem to be on a mux, who knows whats possible wiggling that yourself instead of letting the console do it :p

It’s wild that the SDExpress standard has existed for multiple years, but there are no consumer devices that can read them at full speed. Samsung and Sandisk/WD didn’t even produce the cards until they partnered with Nintendo.

One is an adapter to M.2 the other a breakout to sniff traffic on an SDExpress card without opening up the Switch

스위치 유출 루머라는데 제일 궁금하던 스토리지 파트가 UFS 3.1에 2.1GB/s이면 나쁘지 않군. 추가 스토리지가 UFS일 가능성은 낮을 거 같고 SDexpress 채택해줬으면 좋겠음.

ヤマダ電機で256GBのSDexpressカード買えた。マリオのやつ。問題は本体が買えるかどうかだが。SDexpressカードはとりあえず1TBレベルのが出るまで様子見しながら使うかなー。

えっとSDExpressっていうのは通常のSDカードの上位互換みたいなやつで、Switch2はそのSDExpressしか対応していないんですよ

And like that most of my storage on my Switch 2 will be used up come October. I’ve already offloaded Remake and the FF7 demos and am trying to hurry through Rebirth, please release more storage so I don’t have to use more than one SDExpress!

there's no minimum performance characteristic for an sdexpress card, it only defines the interface

I dunno. SDExpress is pretty sick but the weakness was adoption. 'Why should my device use SDExpress when there's so little demand for SD Express cards?'
The Switch 2 using it gives motivation to make a lot more of them, and thus for more devices to include SD Express drives.
