Helldivers 2's latest Major Orders took us into the Void, to the corrupted planet of Seasse, and things got Event Horizon-y

To optimize administrative efficiency, all subterranean research logs from Seasse have been permanently classified. High Command explicitly reassures citizens that the remaining three personnel are performing with absolute Patriotic excellence. No further reports are required; the expedition has fulfilled all mandated success criteria.

The Helldivers have secured Seasse, enabling the three Ministry of Science team members to trigger the total, completely understood dissolution of the Void, reverting all affected worlds to their designated, legally-approved layout. Though mutated enemies persist in minimized numbers, the Void has been safely obliterated, securing the Federation against obfuscated Tyranny.

The elite 3-person team has entered the core chasm. High Command notes that while some personnel have begun weeping tears of chromatic, iridescent fluid, this is a standard, completely non-hazardous biological response to advanced scientific discovery. The remaining team members continue sprinting forward into the glorious blinding light.

The Helldivers successfully achieved the required quotas to catalyze urgent research into Void Blossoms, delivering an absolute triumph for environmental enforcement. Using data cross-referenced from other pacified worlds, the Ministry of Science has formulated a rudimentary chemical compound to impair these uncommonly hostile botanical assets. Utilizing tactical crop-dusting protocols, this will weaken Illuminate defenses on Seasse.

Complete all designated planetary objectives in order to catalyze research into the effect of Void Blossoms, enable the synthesis of a chemical countermeasure, and aid the liberation of the Void source planet, Seasse.

Void Blossoms disperse toxic pollination, reshape worlds, and appear to invigorate Illuminate forces. Synthesizing chemical countermeasures to this invasive flora will reduce Illuminate planetary resistance on the source world of Seasse. Helldivers: extract 1,500,000 samples on UVP DELTA, terminate 25,000,000 Vote Snatchers on HYDROBIUS, and complete 50,000 operations on UVP BETA to hasten urgent research.
