Our colleagues in the Vox Media Union have put together a Go Fund Me. Please, if you've enjoyed what we do... If I've ever helped you in some way... If you've ever loved something more because of what we've written... Please give what you can. The next few weeks and months are going to be hard.

Gutting a vertical that was just being celebrated across the company. There are so many talented writers available, some company is going to get very lucky.
Vox Media Union statement on today's devastating round of layoffs at Eater. We stand with all of our wonderful colleagues. #solidarityforever #unionstrong #1u

I am absolutely floored seeing all the support signal boosting/donating to the Polygon layoff fund. T___T Sometimes I forget how many people our work touched and it's just so nice to see the names of so many people who donated. www.gofundme.com/f/support-po...

Getting laid off is really starting to sink in and bum me out today — Friday was my first day of being unemployed, but I had previously taken that day off, lol — so to make myself feel better, I and my wife donated to the layoff fund.
