It's a small thing, but my mom finally got approved for senior housing and moved in this weekend. It's "affordable" for California (which means it's only more than I've ever paid for a 1br in my life) and now she can live out her days as a wacky old lady with her cat ♥️👵🐈

The cat distribution system and dog distribution system have both been very generous to me in my lifetime, especially with senior babies - all beautiful blessings 🐕🐈🦮🐈⬛🐱🐶

I’m sorry for this lovely boi’s return. As a senior who had to surrender my late hubby’s cats, sometimes a surrender has more to do with the abilities & available $ of the human than the 🐈!

Our senior cat had some issues that kept us up late (problem resolved), then she spent a lot of the night yelling because she was hungry for breakfast, which was hours away, a severe storm rolled through at around 3 AM, and I had to get up early to feed 🐈🐈.
I'm so dead today.
