I never got the hate folks had for her. First time I played her was in SFA3MAX, and I always thought she was neat. Glad she gets a chance at a revival, and personally I like when niche/forgotten characters come back.

The last 2D Capcom sprite fighting game renaissance sadly this game isn't very good and very mugen in a very unbalanced way along with its roster and i'm aware of the canceled Capcom Fighting All Star game story. Also this is Ingrid's second chance before added to SFA3Max.

maki doesn't have her own theme in her 21st-century appearances (cvs2, sfa3max), but on the basis of how they handled guy, poison, lucia, etc., i expect any modern theme would be loosely based on this:

just remembered a survey capcom put out earlier this year that, amongst the sea of checkboxes, included some essay questions, asking for feedback and commentary on the stuff they've done recently—and i wrote a long azure response on what a shame it was that they didn't include the sfa3max characters
