My dad (life long Dem, lived to be 94, WW2 vet, SFFD first responder for 35 years, still doing the jumble at that age. Died after a fall , kept all his marbles til the very end and voted Obama twice, this woulda killed him

I will never forget when I was at SFMTA and asked SFFD if it was really necessary to send firetrucks to every 911 call regardless of fire risk, and they looked at me like a shot a puppy

This was the Waymo robot that blocked SFFD on Grant Ave during The Outage from reaching a fire a few blocks away.
SFFD had to move another Waymo robot out of the way to get to the PG&E power station fire that triggered The Outage. Also moved a robot blocking an ambulance.
