Closer game tonight, thought both teams were evenly matched, but Rovers didn't have the play with Valery, Musaba or Gassama, so they were always going to edge it. FT 0-1 on balance a fair result

Peep-peep.

Another home struggle against an ordinary visiting team.

Plenty of commitment from the players, but I can't remember one bit of quality when and where it mattered. And the grumbling fans not helping by watching in silence.

Can we play away every week?

4231 with fullbacks making it 2251. But just nothing balls into the area, their defence clearing easily. Flat, uninspired, out of sorts. No lack of effort or intent or fight; just quality.

Pato and Ugbo on, Musaba and Iorfa off.

I think we're just trying to overload them with attackers and hope we don't get caught on the break with reduced numbers at the back.

Buggar. Soft cross, not cleared, put back in, their striker too strong for our defence, nods in from not far out. Or maybe own goal? #Owls one down anyway. Buggar.

Atmosphere at Hillsborough is as flat as a southern pint of beer. Again It's becoming a problem. Fans quiet -> Team quiet -> Fans quieter -> Team quieter...

Maybe we need some great injustice or adversity to overcome together and get everyone geed up as one.

Thin fayre, that half. A bit of danger here and there from both teams, the #Owls having a bit the better of what there was.

I have been reduced to pondering #BRFC's away kit. It's all pink, but with an annoying mismatch between shirt (candy-floss) and shorts/socks (bubblegum).

Ball works over to the left, Bannan curls a lovely cross from deep in and over the defence, Bernard wins the header but just a bit off-target. A burst of excitement from the two teams!

In a panic we clear a corner to the edge of the area, ball comes straight back as an uncontested shot that hits the underside of the bar, bounces down onto the line and out. Beadle beaten. Owls lucky. We am cackapooey at setpieces still.
