Annapurna Sriram's Fucktoys was a lot of fun! Very stylistic and interesting. Raunchy with a great sense of humor. Self-described as "bubblegum grindhouse" with a playful tone and plenty of self-awareness. Very
John Waters inspired. 7/10

I loved and hated April simultaneously. Incredibly filmed with great sound design, but miserable and slow to the point of it feeling borderline malicious. Fantastic presentation with plenty of beautiful shots and scenes. Definitely not for the average viewer. 6/10

Eva Victor’s superb SORRY, BABY wrecked me. Totally get why it went over so well at Sundance. Touched my heart in ways I didn’t see coming. Simply incredible.

Anyhow, it’s the #SIFF2025 closing night film. Get your tickets to see it at @siffnews.bsky.social Cinema Downtown while you can.
