What our first measurement says about disinformation on major platforms in Europe - Science Feedback
Across platforms, accounts that have repeatedly shared misinformation receive more interactions per post per followers than high-credibility accounts; LinkedIn being the exception.

📑 Early hashtag#SIMODS findings (preliminary)

In the presentation below, you can see that LinkedIn has the lowest prevalence of mis/disinformation (~2%), while TikTok has the highest (~20%).

How permeable are online platforms to disinformation in Europe?

📝 A recent report by the SIMODS project brings some tentative answers to this question via its major cross-platform audit of disinformation in Europe on 6 social media platforms (2.6 million posts, totaling 24 billion views).

Hugely important work being done here. The two reports by SIMODS are well worth reading. Example:
"The interaction advantage of low-credibility accounts over high-credibility ones persisted or worsened on most platforms. On X/Twitter it rose from ~4× to ~10×, and on YouTube from ~8.5× to ~11×."
