Sorry to be all woke but…RFK Jr is a poor excuse for a human for lots of reasons, but his voice isn’t one of them. Every time you insult his voice, you’re signaling to other people with disabilities that you think less of them too. There are plenty of other valid things to criticize about him.

I resist #SLTSky and #SLPSky. They're not inclusive enough. "Speechies" in #WeSpeechies and #bskySPEECHIES kind of includes logopaeds etc. as well as the nonSLP/SLT speech-language researchers (psychologists, psycho / neuro / linguists) and teachers who support chn w #DevLangDis &/or literacy probs.

Carriacou a small island in Grenada has no resident Speech Language Therapists and limited access to specialist care. Yet, stroke, TBI, dysphagia, and complex communication needs are real and growing.
