We were pleased to host a successful #SNAPTrial Investigator Meeting at #ESCMIDGlobal2026.

Last Tuesday’s session brought together Chief Investigators from across Europe, as well as our Coordinating Chief Investigators from Australia, who provided a valuable global perspective & progress updates.

Flucloxacillin has long been the workhorse for MSSA bacteraemia. But SNAP trial data suggest cefazolin or benzylpenicillin may lead to better outcomes. Time to revisit our default? This could be a practice-changing moment. #SNAPtrial #ClinicalMicrobiology #JournalClub
