Hubby was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer, operation within 4 wks of diagnosis then 2wk stay in hospital then 12wks chemo. Treatment was exemplary, our SNHS may not be perfect but when it comes to cancer it's the best in the UK.

Today's statistics show we're making real progress in reducing waiting times for patients across Scotland.
Long waits are down for the sixth month in a row, and inpatient and outpatient procedures are up.
More to do, but it's encouraging to see sustained improvement in our NHS.

Anyone who knows anything about the Scottish NHS knows that whilst it’s far from perfect, it’s head and shoulders above the rest of the UK.

Had my dad up at Hairmyers for some eye procedures,full eye test ,eye scan and a meeting with a consultant, all professionally done with care ,they even manage to fit him in for his first injection, follow up appointment booked, big thanks to our Scottish NHS
