Trying to put a newer stick of DDR5 SODIMM ram in a laptop from 2023, and it won't post with the fresh stick. Works fine in the machine I gutted it from, and it still posts with its old ram as well, so I know the hardware is all good. Anyone ever dealt with something like that? Any pointers?

DDR5 메모리 가격이 우주로 가는 가운데, 그나마 SODIMM은 가격 상승폭이 상대적으로 낮은지라(가격이 안올랐다는건 아님), SODIMM을 일반 UDIMM 슬롯에 꽂을 수 있게 변환해주는 컨버터가 나왔음;;;
DR5 UDIMM 슬롯 규격에 맞춘 카트리지에 가이드가 있고, 거기에 SODIMM DDR5 끼워서, 그 카트리지 째로 UDIMM 슬롯에 꽂으면... 짜잔 데스크탑용 UDIMM이 탄생했어요!
