The underlying memo is one of the most jaw-dropping things I've ever read re: higher ed. Some actual sentences:

SOGI is friggin high stakes for me.
1) I want my trans grandchildren, and all children, to be protected from bigotry
2) it's a slippery slope for all queer kids
3) it's a slippery slope for EVERYONE. First they came for the trans kids ...

I dunno if the BC Conservatives and One BC will come together at all to form a conservative block, but they do agree with scrapping SOGI 123, which is probably low stakes for voters at this point.
