I’m slowly going back into my Soku era thanks to the Soku2 mod

Spent 3 hours with my friend trying to get the Soku2 mod to work online which ended with the developer of the mod running out of ideas why am I cursed to torture small devs with my shenanigans

I need to start paying attention to Soku mods again cause what do you mean Tewi and Mamizou got added to the Soku2 lineup

There's a project I've been trying to do for partially myself and partially to at least get some ball rolling for one of the SOKU2 devs to do Soku styled sprites for Momoyo.

All I got to say is holy hell finding the time and effort is painful right now.

I remember when soku2 had to scuffily override existing character slots to function at all, when I learned of the lobby mod I thought it was an external program and finding out it's in the actual game was insane 🤣

i remember playing a touhou fan fighter where the character select had a fixed cursor and pressing left or right moved EVERYTHING ELSE.

the soku2 hack has the soku layout but adds a bunch of characters so everything is even more squished.

ik it definitely wont cuz pressure doesnt work like that in soku but can we at least have mamizou be there in soku2 and give her a command grab that looks like slayer's grab and vikala's backgrab where she blows smoke on ur face and then a bunch of tanuki throw u into the air
