The latest horror story I've come across is McKee's notorious Northside Regeneration TIF is capturing some Downtown West property taxes that it had nothing to do with. eg. the new parking garage for the soccer stadium. That TIF needs axed asap.

I couldn’t agree with you more, Princess Rebecca Frizzle. Between the greed of the owners (and some players’ agents) and money hungry broadcast corporations, I’ve had it as well. I refuse to pay for all the streaming services necessary to watch what I want to see. No more MLB or NHL.

I firmly believe the ideal plan for the peninsula is a multi-lane highway flanked by giant parking lots, so people can zoom through it as quickly as possible and park easily if they need to be here for some reason (presumably to gaze upon the beauty of so much asphalt). /s

I recently bought some new Doc Martens and have been experimenting with ways to deal with breaking them in. I believe I have found a winning combination:
Hydrocolloid bandage and then moleskine padding on top on the areas of your feet where the boots rub against AND mid-weight merino wool socks.
