Happy #NationalRescueDogDay!

Aragon was found abandoned at a gas station in Spain, alone and without even a name. With help from @sosgalgos, he made it to the U.S. for a second chance.

Today, he's safe and in his forever home. 💙

Aragon was once found abandoned at a gas station with no name and no place to go. He has come so far since we first met him.

He has officially been adopted and is now home in the United States with his loving forever family! 🐾

While in Spain, we joined @SOSGalgos' school workshop, teaching kids about Galgos' lives and animal compassion.

Today we met with #SOSGALGOS in Calatorao and spoke with Mayor about the welfare of Spanish Galgos. We presented him with a book outlining the legal status of Galgos used for hunting, and a children's book about the life of a rescued Galgo and provided copies for schools to promote empathy.

On Feb 1, we're standing up for #WorldGalgoDay. #SPCAInternational will march in Barcelona with our partner #SOSGalgos, and demonstrations are happening across Europe and the U.S.
