These were the first experimental results for creating a relativistic electron-positron plasma in a laboratory, using CERN's SPS accelerator generating hadron cascades in a carbon-tantalum rod:

Not what most of you are interested in, but struck by Burnham's language on Nov summit: only SPS and ETS get language of a 'deal', while rest (YEM, IEM, immigration) is 'progress', which speaks to difficulties of agreeing even this level of cooperation

School closures are happening all over the US, but I've been mostly following WA ones. Here's an update from Olympia, where their local reps also say, "sorry no money in the budget." Might be worth considering something similar in SPS about concerns with new elementary ELA curriculum.

The Tories are trying to put the EU off by saying they'd rip up all deals including the SPS one. It does rather undermine their business and 'we're not mad anymore' credentials' though.
