SQ844 (the ad valorem tax question) is getting soundly rejected by voters: 73.56% against, 26.44% for.

SQ846 (the voter ID question) is winning 55% to 44%. About 27% of the vote counted so far.

Appearing on the state's Aug. 25 runoff ballots, #SQ846 would enshrine a current law requiring IDs to vote into the #Oklahoma Constitution — a measure critics call redundant but proponents say will prevent future #okleg bodies from weakening the provision.

Oklahoma already has a Voter ID law. Our GOP-controlled legislature is seeking permanent, exclusive control over who can vote by changing the voter ID rules, making it harder for you (think women, POC, and non-Christians) to vote. Vote NO on SQ846!
