Nobody supported SRPGs more than Switch owners did.
Hopefully that continues with Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave!

In my opinion, Fire Emblem's success has gone a long way in raising the tide of recent SRPGs like Triangle Strategy, Unicorn Overlord, etc.
SRPGs are still pretty niche, but Fire Emblem has cultivated an SRPG fanbase that makes 1m units more regularly achievable.
Hope FF Tactics Advance is next.

in the last 3 years square enix has released at least 9 turn based RPGs
and that's not including stuff that technically counts, like SRPGs
people need to be more honest and just say "I want a really expensive turn based Final Fantasy game"

Mewgenics looks . . . interesting. Binding of Isaac is one of my favorite games, but I'm getting really sick of McMillen's visual design style (it just doesn't evolve). And I also really like SRPGs, but I feel like I'd rather play FF Tactics.
