Next - SSJG Goku vs Beerus. Yes, it has several lows (ki dragons, dragged-out episode 12, unnecessary Kibitoshin and Elder Kai cutaways), but it does a lot of amazing shit that eclipses the movie entirely.
A big one for me is that it expands on SSJG a lot more.

Really, the only things I think movie BoG Goku does better than his anime counterpart are his dissatisfaction with SSJG being unearned in his eyes, and no One Hit to Victory scene.

But I think people don't give the anime enough credit. I will give props to Kaiser and Lani, though, since they genuinely tried to give the arc a fair shot, and were honest about what they thought the show did better (ex: the SSJG ritual).

But compared to SSJG, Goku vs Beerus, the characterization of Goku and Vegeta, and the finale, I think those are pretty minor.
Again, the anime is far from perfect, and the movie is still a better product overall. Plus, Beerus is a better character before the fight with SSJ Goku.

First off, the SSJG ritual. Lanipator actually argued in favor of the God ritual being better, and I agree. Having a grander transformation sequence is really cool, and it contrasts with the plain-looking form really well.
I'd trim down a few aspects of it, but it's still better than the movie's.

Did I like the movie having Goku be upset by the fact that he couldn't achieve SSJG on his own? Yes. Would it be nice to have in the anime? Yes. But does it do a better job of demonstrating on how god ki is a new level of power than the movie? No.

I just disagree with how rarely they believe that, and how much they gas up the movie.
In my view, BoG is not even a top 5 DB movie. It introduces some of my fav characters, but it has notable issues.
Also, while SSJG is my favorite DB form, it's not in my #1 spot because of the movie.

The anime version, despite its weaknesses, has more interesting choreography, makes SSJG stand out a lot more (the reason my fav form is SSJG is *not* the BoG movie), gives Goku and Beerus a really good dynamic, and has a much better ending.
