For VTubers who use VSeeFace or VNyan, switching to Linux: Just use Steam Proton.
1. Add Non-Steam game, select the EXE of your software.
2. Enable "Force Use of Steamplay Compatibility"
3. Select "Proton Experimental" or any earlier version that works.
Done.

Working on getting Elite Dangerous configured. I don’t think I’ve mentioned that all of this is being done on steam deck. Looking into getting good E:D controls and maining E:D on the net and Factorio off the Net. E:D controls need Factorio-Style chord binding to be feature complete. Maybe steamplay

Have you made sure in the settings of Steam that Proton is enabled ? (I think the option is something like "enable SteamPlay" or something about compatibility mode)

And also yea, try to see what version of DX and OpenGL you're running :)

i literally don't even check if steam games are compatible with steamplay or whatever they call their windows compatibility layer, games sometimes run better on linux than they do on my windows pc (especially older games that don't run on modern windows well)

Vllt. muss sie nur die Proton Version wechseln. ProtonUp_Qt installieren und die aktuelle Proton-GE Version instrallieren und in Steam unter Kompatibilität / SteamPlay auswählen.
