The damage caused by the May 16 tornado in St. Louis has left tens of thousands in a state of recovery. From day one, Better Family Life has been on the ground with action, compassion, and unwavering presence. In the face of crisis, it is community that carries us—that is solidarity.

🌧️ After the rain, drain!

Standing water is a mosquito’s favorite breeding ground. Dump it out from:
• Flower pots
• Tires
• Buckets
• Kiddie pools
• Bird baths

It only takes a capful of water for mosquitoes to multiply.

June is PTSD Awareness Month 💚

In the wake of the recent tornado here in St. Louis, many in our community are coping with more than just physical loss; they’re also carrying emotional and mental wounds.

Our local communities are in need. The storm may have passed but the path of destruction remains. Your time, talent, and treasure is appreciated! #tornado #STL #STLstrong #SupportLocal
The TORNADO that hit St. Louis is devastating.
EF-3 at its peak.
The Mayor reports it ripped a path 8 miles long & a mile wide right from the western edge of the city (Skinker) & county (Clayton) through North StL (Delmar, Ville, O'Fallon)
5,000 structures destroyed.

There are many people in need.

We went to donate at O'Fallon YMCA Sunday; so heartwarming in many ways, though the devstation was still heartbreaking.
Literally hundreds of volunteers handing out piles of donations.
The Red Cross is there, the City, more.
So organized.

But the need will be long lasting. DO NOT LET UP.

The devstation from tornado that ripped through STL 5/16 is devstating; worst I've ever seen.
Ripped a path 8 MILES LONG, A MILE WIDE
from western border of the city (&county) to the eastern border. Thousands lost homes, 5 lost their lives.

But I've never been more proud of STL
