Current board game controversy is basically people arguing that if X inspired Y, then Y should pay X money and, my dudes, if that were true - I would have to pay too. But I aint paying SUSD a cent.

if u want to know how 2025 is going for susd so far, i have "imagined" a podcast that we never recorded, and had a filming session voided by someone having a whole flat makeover downstairs (loudly)
we'll be starting up the channel again..... nEXT WEEK!

fulfillment is complete for the TMG drop, the October preorders, and the big wave of orders that happened after the SUSD video. whew!
still need to ship retailer orders, update inventory, pay designer royalties, send designer copies, and break down all the shipping cartons.

When I started writing about board games (thirteen years ago, holy cats!), it was because nobody was creating the form of criticism that I wanted to read. I liked SUSD, I'd watched some Dice Tower, but despite finding them informative and amusing, they weren't treating board games as culture.
