SWMLC Land Protection Director Kaleigh Winkler had the rare opportunity to see a SWMLC preserve from the “outside” when she kayaked the Kalamazoo River past the 3 mile-long shoreline of our Augusta Floodplain Forest Preserve! You can, too: launch from Fort Custer Rec. Area, land in Galesburg.

I am pretty certain that the "save the trees" graffiti is just that, and that those doing the damage have no clue. Anyone in the area knows that Bow in the Clouds was about to undergo updates and improvements as #SWMLC has been pretty vocal about these changes at the preserve.
