Added another Japanese exclusive figure to the collection today, Beast Wars Neo Saberback. It was released back in 1999.

NIGHT ELF warriors are primarily Sentinels; the female-dominated military force of the Kaldorei. Often fielded alongside rogues and hunters, warriors focus on being the tip of the moonglaive, often attacking swiftly from saberback.

#botaday Snarl. Part of the 2003 Walmart-exclusive Dinobot two-packs. Turns into an organic stegosaurus. This design dates back to Saberback (1999 Beast Wars Neo) and Striker (2000 Beast Machines) and again in 2003 as Dinobot Striker (Universe).

What about Saberback? He turns into a dead stegosaurus, with a giant flower growing out of him. I mean that's emo.

Here is my Beast Wars Neo bin. Saberback not pictured because he had some spine plates glued, and I never put him back in.

I mean that said Saberback has the Starscream ego re: being very full of himself and his own intelligence. He's just not gunning for the second in command job.

the funny part here though is that Saberback keeps going "I've got the most elegant plans" and proceeds to not actually tell any of his teammates about the plan, so even though he PLANNED to exploit a bodyswap what's gonna screw him over is NOT TELLING HIS TEAMMATES ABOUT THIS

While Beast Wars Neo is much more "adventure of the week" formatwise, there's still some fun ones.

Eg, this episode,where Saberback exploited a bodyswapping crystal on this planet to swap bodies with Break to carry out his evil plan of luring the Cybertrons into a trap so they can all get taken out

One of my favorite Transformers, this is Saberback from Beast Wars Neo and the dude just sounds like a bunch of words thrown together.
