60 hours til "wheels up" for solar eclipse road trip adventure!

#SafariFrog says "get clothes & groceries packed so we can GO!"

Warm, sunny day on the San Antonio Riverwalk. #SafariFrog says it's time for a Margarita, chips and enchiladas.

Much like me, #SafariFrog sometimes finds himself in prickly situations. Our last overnight stop before arriving at our solar eclipse destination tomorrow. Deep in the heart of Texas.

We weren't the only ones disappointed by clouds during the solar eclipse. So, in consolation #SafariFrog visited #Luckenbach today to listen to the Pickers Circle, have a few cold ones, and take in the scene.

The blistering Texas winds have finally died down enough to keep the grill lit - and ##SafariFrog says it's time for some Tex-Mex chicken off the fire.

Less than a month until we begin our 3-week RV road trip to explore the Southeast, Gulf Coast, and catch the Solar Eclipse in central Texas!

Luckily, another denizen of Frog Pond Farm has volunteered to accompany us as Mascot.

Since we can do hashtags now, BOLO for #SafariFrog! 🐸

Crossed the Mississippi River, and now ##SafariFrog is making friends at the Atchafalaya National WR.

Lesson learned after 3 weeks of travel....
While it's nice to meet new friendly dogs on the road, if I roll over asking for belly rubs, I'm asked to leave the campground.

After 5 days and 1,571 miles on the road.... #SafariFrog is ready for a camp cooked Texas meal. HEB pecan pie for dessert, not pictured.

Greetings from Alabama. Ms. PTS is off on a hike to find the bison that supposedly live on this "Bison Farm", while #SafariFrog and I set up camp for the evening.

In the interim, it remains to be seen if #SafariFrog will help me track and fix an electrical short that periodically takes out several unrelated but important systems in the rig.

10 days until departure for our big cross-country trip for the solar eclipse! #SafariFrog wants to know why the RV isn't here being prepped, and why service center is sending a quote for $1500 work not requested!?!?!?

Regardless of solar eclipse weather forecast, #SafariFrog is ready to roll!
