This week, the #SAFARIProject team met in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to review progress, discuss preliminary findings, and plan the next steps of the project.

Building on our team discussions, we joined @udomtheofficial and Tanzania’s Ministry of Health for a two-day #SAFARIProject baseline dissemination workshop in Dar es Salaam, with policymakers, regional and district health leaders, and healthcare professionals.

This week, our team joined the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, to train antenatal care providers on AI-assisted ultrasound through the SAFARI project.

The training covered hands-on use, interpreting findings and referral pathways, with ongoing supervised learning and mentoring.

The #SAFARI Project recently engaged community stakeholders in Dodoma, Tanzania, as part of ongoing activities to support the implementation of AI-assisted obstetric ultrasound in primary healthcare facilities.
