DUDE what are these niggas putting into modern school laptops??? Was trying to help my little brother emulate some Sonic games and apparently they are 5 steps ahead of me. Cant do a safemode boot, cant load ANYTHING from USB, ports require PERMISSION. BRO WHAT.

I didn't explain activating Safemode on Windows very well. You need to repeatedly tap F5 or F6 during Windows startup in order to enter Safe Mode. This will make it so that only critical Windows systems will be activated, which should prevent the spyware and remote access trojan from launching.

My power went out for a moment, and when I went to turn on PC, it was stuck on the motherboard booting screen. Got super worried that something had died inside, like the ssd. but yippee, I drained the power, booted it in safemode and repair and it booted up fine now. That was a scary moment.
