A painting of three women. At center-left is the Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child in her lap. At center right is St Catherine in a gold-trimmed white gown, reaching with her right hand toward the baby; her left forearm is draped over a broken wheel, her attribute. Between these two women stands St. Barbara, holding a martyr's palm. At the far right, from the background, St. Joseph looks on; at the right, a toddler John the Baptist looks on. At the right edge of the painting, on the other side of St. John, is a lamb (painted head-on, from the front).
