I'm in New Orleans. We have a map consisting of roughly 27 areas. Each area has a different flavor profile. The eastern areas are brackish bc Mississippi freshwater/ Gulf saltwater. Atchafalaya Basin is similar but more subtle. I love my oysters fresh, chargrilled, Rockefeller or Bienville. 😁🦪
