Day trip out to the Saltee islands to see the puffins and other wildlife. 20 minute trip out from Kilmore Quay and transfer in to shore via RIB. The island is privately owned but open to the public.

a seal sat on a rock in the water, more rocks behind huge slabs of rock to the left, a water channel in the middle, more enormous rocks on the right Cormorants on rocks absolutely covered in Guano. a rocky hill on an island covered with Gannets and gannet poo.

This little guy came out to say Hi 👋

just 5 km off the coast of #KilmoreQuay
& are one of Ireland’s premier puffin
colonies. Thousands of Atlantic Puffins
arrive in April to breed & raise their chicks.
