Cowl week!
This cowl was a pandemic project. I decided to take on something stranded that would force me to master 2-handed colorwork. It took the better part of a a year and the difference in gauge between the beginning and ending inches is laughable.

Greetings from Sanquhar in Dumfries and Galloway which is home to the world’s oldest working post office.

The forlorn ruins of Sanquhar Castle, on the southern edge of Sanquhar in Dumfries & Galloway. The castle was built by the Crichton family from around 1400 and abandoned in 1900 after partial restoration by the 3rd Marquess of Bute. More pics and info: www.undiscoveredscot...
