Continuous rainfall has led to over 2,000 families being affected by floods in Saptari district, with 500 houses inundated across Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality and Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality. The flooding occurred on Friday night after the Saptakoshi River's water level rose. Mayor Birendra Majhi stated that immediate meals are being provided, with further relief to follow as waters recede.
