Read from right to left! Been rereading #houseoffiveleaves😊 When Matsu's a hostage and Masa got hired as the kidnapper's yojimbo, when Masa assures Matsu that he will come back to save him, I noticed that when Masa says this, Matsu has blood on this face, and the next page.. the blood is gone :3

I imagine post canon there are moments where Yaichi lashes out and tries to provoke Masa, bc he feels guilty and undeserving of Masa's kindness - and Masa's response often is just. this. for a hot uncomfortable second, and then moves on

When Yaichi & the cat are together, the cat just stares at him. The 1st panel is a redraw of one of the last panels from a scene; the reader leaves with Masa and Bunnosuke and Yaichi stays behind. This is what I imagine happens after that <3

In the back of the #HouseofFiveLeaves manga, there's a bit that explains that the grouping Matsu/pine, Take/bamboo, Ume/plum is called Shochikubai and is considered to be a symbol of good fortune. They're the Three Friends of Winter 💖Anyway, I felt like drawing them in pretty kimonos

Heyy another redraw - and style swap this time! I don't know if I've ever (intentionally) done a style swap before. I love Yamato in Ono Natsume's art style (*fans self*), but Masa in Kishimoto's looks kind of wrong to me 🤔 Still cute though :)

Yrs ago drew Matsu finding Yaichi dressed as a women. Something Katsuraya's girls did for entertainment, tho maybe it sparked something in Yaichi. Another old #Inktober sketch! I have to say, this one was probably the most important for me to finish. I love drawing and writing Otake and Matsu's friendship.. I like the idea of Matsu being the person she opens up to at some point, and vice versa 💖
